We are excited to announce our renewable energy partnership with Psaltry International Company Ltd (“Psaltry”) on a 1.6MWh battery storage system and 1.1MW solar installation.
Psaltry is the leading agro-allied cassava processing company in Africa. It is the first company in Africa to produce cassava-based sorbitol and the second globally.
Backed by Alitheia Capital, Psaltry aimed to be powered by green energy for all its operations. This project will help Psaltry reduce carbon emissions by up to 15,142 tonnes of CO2 over the contract tenure.
Through this project, Psaltry will benefit from:
- Increased energy cost savings year-on-year.
- High return on agro-processing investment.
- Predictability of power costs.
- Smooth, immediate and reliable power supply all year round.
