A seasoned professional with a proven track record in energy and utility sectors
Omotunde joins Starsight Energy from Tru Energy Limited, where he served as Acting Managing Director/Chief Operations Officer. He led strategic growth, managing multiple projects in gas processing CNG mother/daughter stations and contact acquisitions within the gas and energy industry.
Prior to joining Tru Energy Limited, Omotunde worked with Butane Energy Limited as Chief Operating Officer, where he played a crucial role in advancing the company’s strategic objectives, including raising capital for developing gas distribution infrastructure across Northern Nigeria. Before that, at Solad LLC, Omotunde was instrumental in implementing renewable and gas power projects for commercial, industrial, and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) throughout Northern and Southern Nigeria. As Chief Operations Officer at Asiko Energy Holdings, he demonstrated strategic acumen by overseeing key functions in gas trading, distribution, and the development of captive power plants.
Earlier in his career, Omotunde served as a Senior Consultant at Energynvest Limited, where he collaborated closely with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on the Nigeria Gas Master Plan (NGMP), showcasing his expertise in shaping national energy strategies.

Omotunde will oversee, manage, and provide leadership to Starsight Energy’s Operations, Construction, and Energy System Engineering Teams in Nigeria.
