One of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, which has over 200 branches nationwide, wanted to reduce its power costs as well as cut its carbon emissions. The customer also needed to ensure power uptime for its ATMs.
SOLUTION
Installed hybrid solar power solutions with zero upfront costs
We installed a hybrid solar power solution at over 100 of the bank’s branches with zero upfront costs to the customer. The system provides continuous power during the day, switching seamlessly between solar, generator, national grid, and battery storage. The solution eliminates power downtime as the battery storage operates critical load during the night.
For the contract duration, we manage, operate, and perform maintenance of the hybrid power solution and energy-efficient air conditioners to maximize uptime. We pay for diesel supply and grid electricity. We also replaced the existing lighting system with energy efficient LED lights to reduce energy consumption.
